In this one-of-a-kind workshop, historic window specialist Greg Rosenow leads you through the repair and restoration of old wood windows at a 1921 home in the Como neighborhood of Minneapolis.
You’ll learn the anatomy of a window, how to remove and assess sashes, and various preservation and weatherization methods. Our workshop is hands-on! You’ll get plenty of practice repairing the home's windows. Tasks include paint stripping, glazing, weatherstripping, and reinstalling the sash.
An absolute don’t-miss for anyone who cares for old houses and buildings, this class is presented by Preservation Alliance of Minnesota. Lunch will be provided.
